Headshots: Thankfully for headshots I have no need to be within 4 meters of you! I will demonstrate any poses and make sure that social distance is maintained at all times. Live & Event:
WHO KNOWS! I'm really missing being in the pit infront of a stage. As you know it's my favourite place to be in the world! Hopefully it wont be too long now, but until then stay safe folks, and I'll see you on the road as soon as we can
Estate Agency:
With the re-opening of the Housing Market, photography will be needed by Agents and Private Vendors alike. I will endeavour to follow the following guidelines to protect both the client, myself & my family.
Prior to the shoot.
All equipment will be wiped down with antibacterial wipes where possible. Please remember that as a professional photographer I use electronic equipment that cannot be washed or steamed.
I will wash & disinfect my hands before leaving the office, then again on arrival using wipes, and antibac them before leaving my vehicle.
On arrival I will run through with you what your agent will be needing from us in your shoot. This may also be video, floorplans or an inventory of fixed appliances. This can be done at a distance of course.
Should you request I will wear gloves. However due to the nature of the work I do, this could make the shoot longer as tactile controls will take longer to work.
The bare minimum of equipment will be taken into the property. This will include, Camera Body & Lens, Monopod, Notepad, Laser Tape Measure & Pen.
I will endeavour where possible to not put equipment down. However, this is sometimes impossible.
You are welcome to be in the house whilst shooting commences, however if I am downstairs you may be required to be upstairs or a minimum of 2 meters away. You may be asked to move if you or your shadow / reflection is affecting the composition of the shot. No, I cannot photoshop this out!
I may need to move things, such as toilet brushes, drainers, Kitchen bins, cleaning products in bathrooms that I feel will negatively affect the composition of the photograph. Again, these cannot be "photoshopped". I will make a note of these and advise you so you can disinfect appropriately as I leave.
I may need to open doors, interior and exterior so you should make sure all handles are wiped once the shoot has completed.
On average the shoot will take approximately 1 hr 20 minutes. This is based on a 3 Bed Semi-detached house.
Please listen to your Agentwhen it comes to prepping the property. They are the experts and are an incredible source of information when it comes to dressing your property ready for sale. It will also minimise the need to move items and bring down the risk further.
At the end of the shoot, I will make sure where possible all items that have been moved have been returned to their original place. Bathrooms are a frequent place where multiple items must be moved. Please make sure bottles that are kept in showers, toothbrush holders, cleaning products etc are hidden away
I will do my absolute best to keep the risk of infection to a minimum. Within my family I have both a special needs child & a family member with auto immune issues. Their health is of the utmost importance. Where possible we have been isolating since early March, (a week before the schools were shut officially). Should I arrive at your property and feel something is awry I may refuse to shoot that day and reschedule for another time.
Keeping us all safe is the top priority here. I will do my absolute best to keep us safe during the shoot. By working together, we can manage this easily and provide you with a fantastic set of images that will help you achieve the very top price & allow your sale to proceed as fast as possible.
